Our hotel is located on the Western Lake Constance on the island of Reichenau, approx. 8 km from Konstanz and the Swiss border.

Check-in is guaranteed as from 3:00 pm. Please check out by 11:00 am.
Our staff at reception will be happy to look after you between 7:30 am and 9:00 pm. Please let us know in good time if you intend to arrive later than 6 pm.
Parking
Parking spaces are available right next to our hotel, with a fee of € 4 per day and car.
Restaurant
We extend a warm welcome to visitors to our restaurant. Please reserve a table in good time.
We offer a 3-course menu for our house guests.

Dogs
Your four-legged friend is more than welcome! Since we have a limited number of rooms for guests with a dog, we kindly ask you to call us to check for availability T: +49 7534 99440. Please note that one dog is permitted per room and that we charge a fee of € 15 per day.

Wifi
Wifi access is available free of charge in all parts of the building. We will be glad to provide you with the password at the reception.
Visitor's tax and guest pass
On Reichenau Island, the following visitor’s taxes apply per person and day::
- from April 1st – October 31st: € 2.50
- from November 1st – March 31st: € 1
- The visitor’s tax does not apply to children up to 15 years of age.
As part of the tax you get a guest pass, that comes with discounts to some tourist sites. Additionally, it is a ticket to the entire public transport of the VHB (Verkehrsverbund Hegau-Bodensee (“transport association Hegau-Bodensee”).

Children
Holidays with the entire family. For our young guests we offer the following: cot, highchairs, children’s menu in our restaurant and paper and pencils for drawing.
- We do not charge anything for children up to 3 years.
- Children age 4-10: € 20 per night incl. breakfast
- Children and teenagers from 11 years: € 45 per night incl. breakfastk
- extra bed for adults: € 63 per night incl. breakfastk

Tennis
Our hotel guests can rent a tennis court at the TC Reichenau for € 14 per hour.
Telephoning
The Reichenau is situated very close to the Swiss border. That means that you may also pick up Swiss mobile networks. Please keep that in mind and check the settings on your phone to make sure you do not incur high charges for data roaming. Switzerland is no member of the EU.
Border area
As you are spending your holiday so close to Switzerland, you may inadvertently cross the border. It is therefore a good idea to take both yours and your children`s identity cards with you wherever you go.
Currency
The Euro is the official means of payment on the German side of the Untersee. In Switzerland you require Swiss Francs. Places situated very close to the border often accept both currencies. Please check before going somewhere in order to avoid any inconvenience.
