The view is worth a visit
A special tip for a trip to the island of Reichenau is the Hochwart work gallery, which is located at the highest point of the island in the middle of the vineyards. The building was built in 1833 as a tea house and belvedere. Today the Hochwart attracts visitors with ceramics, art and coffee. The lawn in front of the building invites you to rest and relax – with a view over the island and the surrounding banks.
The opening times are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays “if you’re lucky”.
